STEP 1

Are You Ready?

Wash your hands.

Make sure the cord is hanging outside the inner tube. Pull the inner tube out until it stops at the bottom of the outer tube, when you should feel a click.

STEP 2

Hold the applicator with your thumb and middle finger just below the ridge.

Place the tip of the applicator into the vaginal opening and gently push the applicator towards your lower back.

STEP 3

Continue to ease in the applicator until you’ve inserted it as far as the rim of the outer tube.

Then using the finger between your thumb and middle finger, push the inner tube inside the outer tube until both rings meet.

STEP 4

Gently pull out the applicator, leaving the cord hanging down and you’re all done.

STEP 5

Once it's in place you shouldn't be able to feel it inside you, that's how you'll know it's in the right place.

Now wash your hands again... Then go have some fun!

Your not alone! I really struggled with tampons till I started masturbating and it made inserting tampons so easy!

Me too!! I really don't understand. Tampons make me cry I just can't get them in

Nikki

I can't even get the plastic applicator through in my vagina because it is too tight! I think menstrual cup is my last option!

Confused abt womenhood

I also feel like I can’t get the tampon up far enough to be honest it’s really uncomfortable for me to use tampons

same! i find it really hard to use tampons. i am just sticking to pads at the moment but i want to move on to tampons.

Anyone else, just me?

I can't get the tampon up far enough, all I get is resistance which is annoying as I am a keen swimmer and keep having to miss competitions which means I am loosing my county ranks! I don't understand and I do not want a period to ruin my swimming!

frustratedPuppy

it's uncomfortable still and I've been using tampons for a while, just can't seem to get it in right :/
